Next, in terms of technology, there are various advancements in container handling such as automated stacking cranes and container container tracking systems. By using these technology advancements, it will be easier to handle all the containers at the port. One of the consequences by using technology is it can reduce time in completing the work.

This company gave opinion about the current local container handling and technology. They said that they already meet with the expectations regarding the container handling and technology. Besides, they can see that there are no any problems about it. It is because container handling equipment and technology that port authority use is make it more efficient. 

However, there are important considerations that need to be aware. The things that need to be aware of is when the system damage occurs. System failure is the most unwanted thing to happen. It is because when the system damage, it means that it will affect the activity at the port which is it can delay the loading and unloading container at the port. 

Furthermore, it is an existing risk associated with the advancement of port technology. So, when the port is using technology, it will be a big problem for them. The operator manager give advice which is they thought that the port operator that use technology or automation technology, they need to have a backups to use when system breakdown. When there are systems breakdown happen, they can use the manual way to handle the container and work can be done on time.
